"Great Electricians aren’t born. They’re trained!"

 

Uniquely managed by a group of Trustees from Labor and Management, the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee of Nassau/Suffolk Counties train our apprentices to be the finest electricians throughout the entire electrical industry.

 

In today's competitive arena, an electrician must be able to assemble, install, repair or work on entire systems; whether it be in a residential home, a school, an electrical generation facility, on street lights, traffic lights, alarms, computers, telephone systems and all other facets of the industry. They must be able to navigate about in a dynamic industry that could require them to learn specialized skills and obtain additional certifications to ensure they stay ahead of the curve in a quickly changing workplace.
